Why should we unban you? I have messed up many times before, and I don't expect an unban for the most part. all id like to say, Is if I can be allowed 1 more chance I will not take it for granite.  I haven't made an appeal (Other than that other one I made late at night, I wasn't thinking)  Because I wanted to reflect on my actions and see how I could learn and become a better person from this.  I really hope you can see that I am trying to change,  But I can only do so much.  The past is there to haunt me forever,  And the hole I've dug is to far.  I hope you can give me a second chance to redeem myself and prove I have changed.

Why Should We Pick You To Be Our Next Moderator?:
I believe that I should be chosen to be MCP’s newest Moderator because I will not simply “just do my job”. Player/Staff interaction is something that will always be one of my highest priorities, as keeping a good relationship between the two is key to having a healthy community. I believe that I have become well liked by many members of the community, which will make having me on the Moderator team all the more beneficial. From chat Moderation, to helping players who have any questions/concerns, I know that I will be able to go above and beyond what is required and expected by encouraging server growth, making good decisions, and doing what is right. I have read the rules for both the Moderator and Guard positions multiple times, and do so every week to catch any important updates/changes. I believe that doing so has given me a very good understanding of the rules, and will allow me to address situations efficiently and correctly. If I am uncertain about anything pertaining to rules/conduct, I will not hesitate to ask someone in a higher position for guidance. With experience from staff positions with other servers and watching the way CDGS works, I know I will be able to do my part in making the server a better place for all, little by little. Tiss but a scratch.
Additional Information:
As stated above, I will be running a bit of a different schedule as the fall semester progresses. With my new education path and a new job, times may vary for better or worse. My new job is at the university that I am attending as a Texhnician Assistant, and the job doesn’t really require any time consuming work. In my free time, I will be doing my best to serve as a Moderator, but more importantly, I will be helping the community of CDGS expand, collaborate, and thrive.

Its long since been considered but if we invested in making merchandise with a few CDGS/MCP/Convicted logos on would anyone buy it?
We would do it with the lowest possible overhead as we wouldn't do it for profit as it would just be cool to have people wearing it.

We'd probably also do some giveaways for a first batch or something along those lines.

Instead of the one portal that takes you to a set spawn have that one portal take you to a room with multiple portals that will take you out into multiple set locations this will be easy to do plus it will make the one set spawn less cluttered and butchered

What is the bug: The live map is blacked out where the new free spawn has been set it is also off-center.

The orange circle is where old free spawn was set and is someone the centerpoint of the live map when you first open live map, however the free spawn has been changed and player now have to manually look around the map for the correct coords, also 1000s of blocks around the new free spawn on the live map are blackened out. The red circle is roughly where the new free spawn has been placed.

My idea is to create custom in game achievements. Something along the lines of. You've escaped solitary for the first time and rewarding the player with a 1 time reward such as points or money. The reasoning behind this idea is to give the server more of a uniqueness to it. (Not saying it isn't already) and to instill another goal into the players minds. This gives players something extra to do besides mining and milling about selling and trading with others and allows them to play longer without feeling burnt out.

3. Has something like it been done before? Yes. Protection 5 diamond riot helmets have been dropping since I could remember. I know there were a few patches to try to stop them from dropping, but I believe today they were fixed for good.
4. Has this idea been suggested before? Not that I'm aware of.


Two arguments can be made about Protection 5 diamond riot helmets. On one side, I believe they were nerfed in order to keep pvp balanced and not too over powered. On the other hand, receiving a prot 5 riot helmet from killing an A guard is a good reward for killing guards. Besides tasers, riot helmets were essentially the only other item people actively pvped guards for. Before I would agree receiving riot helmets from A guards was too easy, however since the buffs guards have been given, I believe a riot helm is a fair reward for a player who is able to take down riot guards.

I believe a compromise is necessary so what I will propose is this: riot helmets dropped by guards have unbreaking 10. Lower the unbreaking on the riot helmet and reinstate the protection 5. This would insure the helmets would need to be repaired more frequently but would still give players a reward for killing a higher ranking guard. Right now, there is no point in fighting guards higher than C because all drops are essentially the same.

Before the common rebuttal, "Guards aren't meant to be farmed" will be said, I will say that guards are not meant to be farmed, which is why they were buffed; but pvping guards is/always was a large part of prison servers. It is pretty hard for the average pvper to win against a C guard, so players able to kill guards with better equipment should receive a better reward.

Additional Info: I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I'm trying not to get banned, so I'd rather be safe than sorry. If it's a feature, then so be it, I just don't like the ban hammer all that much.
