So my suggestion is that when a new player joins, a option menu pops up like when staff have /warp there are options, and the choices are what they got arrested for so one option could be murder, or drugs, or rape/kidnapping.  You get the point.  When they join they could spawn somewhere outside the prison and when they choose it says in chat for example, "Silas_Bowen was charged for aggravated assault" or "Maelonic was charged for human trafficking" who knows and that could be a new Welcome/Join the server message.  I know it's most likely not gonna happen but it adds to the role play and makes the player engage immediately when they join.

Why should we unban you?  This is the best prison server I could find and I wasn't at fault for my ban because all I did was have the same IP as my brother who got banned on his first day here. I always vote for this server and recommended a little too much I guess as now i'm in this situation. In conclusion, I was just banned due to my brother's action therefor as I'm an entirely different person with my own account on Minecraft as well I shouldn't be brought down by my brother's mistakes.
Additional Info: LitteLea seemed to not actually want to ban me but did just because they had to.

Why Should We Pick You To Be Our Next Moderator? - Both in life and on MC, I enjoy helping people. I feel the moderator position would both increase my ability to help people, and the willingness for people to ask me for help. Making the server a better and less toxic environment for both new and long lasting players a like has been my goal for awhile now, and i'm hoping that even if I do not get this position that I can still make a difference in the community.

Additional Information: I understand that my lack of playtime is going to heavily influence the decision of this application, but I'm looking forward to seeing what people have to say. Tiss but a scratch

"Donations" are now disabled on the server and we will not be accepting anymore in compliance with the EULA. The server will run on for the future so don't worry.

We have always been fair when it comes to creating a play environment. With that said thanks to everyone who has supported the server under our fair system but as it violates Mojangs IP enforcement we cannot accept donations through CDGS anymore.

I won't make a long rant but my opinion on the matter is this enforcement is occurring just to protect their IP under the guise of making fair game play. MCP has always prided ourselves with our fair design/gameplay long before the EULA, this is why we've lasted for so long. Corrupt admins on other servers can literally just spawn favoured players things for free so the whole "we're doing this to protect players" thing is silly as servers run by the community can't be policed like that.

They are also claiming this is done in order to prevent people from being ripped off (something we have never done). When in reality large & small servers that will abide by a EULA are not the kind to rip people off in the first place. Other servers that rip off players will likely just violate the EULA will just pack up and rebrand without a second thought of their members.

I could literally write an essay on this but won't as it's a waste of time.

Why should we unban you? I have taken a few days to think about my actions and have come to realize that being racist won't get me very far in life. Sense I have been banned I try to log on to he server and think about what I have done. I wan't to say sorry to Betch the one I called a racial slur and hope I will be forgiven for my terrible actions and I would like to apologize to the server who saw me be racist. I would love to come back to the server and start fresh.

I believe that MCP would benefit from a duel system where players can duke it out, 1 on 1, anyplace in the prison, no safezones. The players would not receive or deal damage to anyone but their duel opponent, and after one wins, instead of dying and dropping gear, they would be healed and the duel would end.

I think MCP needs more PvP and what I am suggesting is a risk free way of encouraging combat. The hurtles I can think of include the difficulty of coding a proper system, abuse of the duel system to escape a fight (maybe make /duel not available in combat) or avoid a fight (/dueling with a friend to get through a PvP zone, no idea how to prevent that), consumables (i.e. you eat all your golden apples, lose, have no golden apples left and you are in a PvP zone,) maybe replenish consumables which could be exploited and/or give protection for a small time against the other player in the duel. The logistics are not optimal, but this is my attempt at the "there is no pvp on the server anymore" problem, sorry for the jumble of thoughts.

Have You Ever Been: Banned, Muted, Kicked? Yes I was muted for many reasons and was banned for staff disrespect. I was also banished.
If You Have Been, Why, And For How Long? I was banished for 10 hours and got a day ban for staff disrespect.
What is your current playtime on the server? (/playtime) 331 Hours
When can you play on MCP? Starting August 15th, I can play 1-2 hours a day Monday-Friday. I can play 2-3 Hours a day on Saturday and Sunday. (Also on holidays I can play for about 2 hours a day.)
