Welcome to the HeadlessCowboy’s bond, stock market, donations, and pawn shop.  Here I will explain what my plot is all about with these three financial options.  The plot is located near the free spawn if you walk out to the plot area from the bridge.  The plot is made up of wood primarily.  First I will talk about bonds.  At rates and "currency" are in game items and are not tied at all to real life money.

Bonds:

The rate in this company will be 1% for all bonds given for a period of 1 week.  You are paid the interest every week.  The maturity date for all bonds will be 4 weeks.  If you withdraw your bond before the maturity date, you do not get the full maturity value but rather get 1% off the par value (how much you gave) of the bond from when you withdraw tell the maturity date per day.

Note: the rate for the interest will change every once and a while.

Stock Market:

  Each day when I earn money, the stock will go up.  When I lose money (from either the bonds or pawn shop) the stock goes down.  There are two forms of stock: Preferred stocks in which will receive dividends plus two votes and common stock that don’t receive dividends plus only one vote.  If one person owns 51% of the stock votes, then their vote will always win. 

The stock market is going to open in December so there may be people that can buy into the stock market at a list price before the stocks are made to the public.  You may message me in game or via mail in the forums to be a beginning investor.  All beginning investors get at least one preferred stock.

The stock market will be open one hour every day starting with me updating the signs on the plot for the stock market stats.  You may still trade when the market is closed but the trade will go through once the market has opened again.  Note: I will not spend any money in between market close to market open.  This does include pawns and bonds.  The hour of the stock market to be open will be decided once we get closer to December.  If you guys have any opinion on when you would like the stock market to be open server time, please reply and I’ll see if I can meet that time that majority of you guys want.

The prices on opening day will depend on pre-stock opening investors for both preferred stock and common stock.  I will post the rates of the stock market here first then update in game.  Also, here in this thread, you can have a even more detailed report about the stocks history.

Donations:

If you donate to the donation spot and tell me what you put into it, you will receive dividends with every stock you own in the company (common stock will remain common stock though).  If you don’t have any stocks in the company, it would count as having one stock so you would get one dividend per the one share.  The donations will go to new comers as a gift (This may get them to stay longer).

Pawn Shop:

I am going to be running a pawn shop.  Do you ever need money but have items you want to keep not just selling them away to get money?  One solution: pawn it here at HeadlessCowboy’s pawn shop.  I will give you an offer for your item and with a low rate of 1% per two days to pay it back interest.  You have 2 weeks to pay off half of the loan and then only 1 more week to pay off the entire loan.  If you do not pay it back within the 3 weeks, the pawned items becomes property of HeadlessCowboy.

I think we should get rid of faction claimed areas (the parts highlighted in red, including the red flag) on the live map so it's harder to find bases, and you have to walk around instead of just following some coordinates. We would have to set a world border, but I don't think that would be too much of an issue. Maybe every 2-3 months we could reset the free world so we can get a fresh start and explore new things. I think this could help fix the issue of people exploiting the live map in order to kill players. So what I'm trying to say is; let's make the live map less OP.

Why should we unban you? Well like my good bud Pigmine123 said in his unban appeal we were just mining in free inside a few underground mine shafts grabing all those cave spider spawners. As he said and I quote "We took turns breaking spawners I break one he breaks one, going back and forth". And for the nice juicy big spawner areas we found live map has all the things we need. Additional info: Also if it is for the faction base, sorry but its a base and we raided it.

Why should we unban you? A few days ago I saw serrian_ in the free world moving around very fast, after running out to find him and seeing my player ontop of him on the map I dug down since he had to be under ground. I found a spawner room with no spawner and a tunnel leading off of it, so I followed said tunnel and saw serrian_'s name tag, then killed him and got his miner gear. I asked him in ts later what he was doing and he told me he was speed mining with a efficiency 5 pick (breaks stone instantly with haste 2) and he used the live map to find spawners and mineshafts with spawners. After hearing what serrian_ said I decided to do the same thing, to supply my creeper egg addiction. I used the miner armor and live map to tunnel around with Agronomy in tail and found mineshafts, then broke the cavespider and anyother spawners attached to the mineshaft and caves. We took turns breaking spawners I break one he breaks one, going back and forth. I did not use any hacks/xray hacks to do it. If It was not that, that got me banned, and instead was when we cannoned ModsandFriends base and destroyed their grinder, we used live map on cave mode like before, and saw a massive box (Hard to miss). and started to cannon in the area that gave us the closest cannon point to where they were standing on the map. Like before no hacks/xray hacks used in this operation.

Why should we pick you to be our next guard? I think i should because the next guard because i think i have been a prisoner long enough and i really wanna help out the community by players getting along for just helping other new players around the server. See guarding is not a easy job you have to keep up with everything around you with all the players  hitting you or having swords out.  A prison guard in real life is not really similar to a minecraft community prison guard  and i know this because my Papa used to be a prison guard in the prison in fayetteville North Carolina and i would like to keep the family movement in minecraft because i thought it would be a cool idea to keep the family movement going in minecraft community prison one of the best non op prison built.

Completely remove the knockback from snowballs in this event completely. In my suggestions thread before I suggested removing it from event warmup, however users still use the snowball knockback to keep players in a corner while knocking out the floor below them completely giving them zero chance to even compete in the event.  Before someone says don't stand in a corner, it doesn't stop players from pushing you into a corner to keep you stuck there.
