Why should we unban you? A few days ago I saw serrian_ in the free world moving around very fast, after running out to find him and seeing my player ontop of him on the map I dug down since he had to be under ground. I found a spawner room with no spawner and a tunnel leading off of it, so I followed said tunnel and saw serrian_'s name tag, then killed him and got his miner gear. I asked him in ts later what he was doing and he told me he was speed mining with a efficiency 5 pick (breaks stone instantly with haste 2) and he used the live map to find spawners and mineshafts with spawners. After hearing what serrian_ said I decided to do the same thing, to supply my creeper egg addiction. I used the miner armor and live map to tunnel around with Agronomy in tail and found mineshafts, then broke the cavespider and anyother spawners attached to the mineshaft and caves. We took turns breaking spawners I break one he breaks one, going back and forth. I did not use any hacks/xray hacks to do it. If It was not that, that got me banned, and instead was when we cannoned ModsandFriends base and destroyed their grinder, we used live map on cave mode like before, and saw a massive box (Hard to miss). and started to cannon in the area that gave us the closest cannon point to where they were standing on the map. Like before no hacks/xray hacks used in this operation.

I have no intent to take apart in this subject other to clarify myself as you used me as reference.
1) This isn't about me.
2) I heavily use miner coal and a surround sound headset to locate spawners
3) I've done it right in front of Miner and Jereh and are familiar with how the live map off sets the location.
4) Any other reference and comments toward me will be ignored.

If you were using the miner coal why did you not have it on you when I killed you? When I killed you, you dropped xp, iron, gold, obsidian, tnt, and other items like your armor and your good tools.. How did you use the miner coal without said item in your hand or inventory? Yesterday I was in the open chatrooms in ts with wyLd_, Jereh, and you, and when I was in there you and Jereh were opening crates (From what I heard the crates Jereh opened were for serrian_, but Jereh just wanted to open them). I heard Jereh say that he had gotten a miner coal and he put in in the chest which he said was full of serrian_'s crate items. You did not have the miner coal on you and there is no way to accidentally sold it if thats what you want to say, since it has a name and a lore(try selling guard iron, gold, or diamonds it will not work).

I banned you correct. While your appeal makes zero to little sense, and from what I can understand says little about the actual incident.

These are images of your mining patterns, all of which lead directly the spawners. So feel free to explain this, at this current time I will not be unbanning you.

Alright, as this involves me quite a bit (I was on ts with them the entire time) I'll put in my two cents.

The evidence you posted is pretty damning, granted you don't know what's going on from our perspective.  So let me explain.

1.  The live map provides an easy-to-use method that is great for:
a.  raiding bases
b.  finding structures (spawners included)
c.  planning where to put nether portals in order to kill a random player.

2.  The live map can easily be exploited;
After pigmine123 stalked serrian_ for about an hour while he was erratically going in circles on the live map.  After pvping him, the method of finding spawners was born, dubbed, "The Serrian Technique."  Although we are still dumbfounded how Serrian_ was able to perform this method by himself, we'll accept his explanation despite the obvious flaws. ( jet fuel can't melt steel beams? )

Anyway, here's how we do it.  There are two parties involved: the spotter and the miner.  The spotter follows along on the livemap-- and optionally, in person-- giving the miner instructions on where to direct their mining patterns.  The sharp 4-8 block turns on the majority of those pictures are because pigmine123 encountered gravel and didn't have a shovel.  We recreated this with Agro and Pigmine directing me where to find spawners, and I found 3 spawners in a 15 minute span -- much slower because my gear was aids.  Here's a screenshot of one of them:

We are able to do this using: f3 menu to locate entities, map to find elevation, mobs, and level of suspicious looking boxes in the ground, and, of course, the tears of our enemies.

While it definitely looks like x-ray, you can easily recreate it yourselves.  If you don't believe us, try for yourself, it's pretty easy.

We did not find this to be an exploit because nowhere in the rules does it say, "don't exploit the live map," but we can understand if we are asked not to abuse this.

Is this not my ban appeal? Genuinely confused if this is an appeal for serrian_ or someone else. The simple fact that you base you argument and eligibility for being unbanned  on me is quite hysterical and shows a lack of maturity and responsibility. Nor was I ever involved in your ban. So by all means continue referencing me, but I highly suggest Voicing a validated reason about yourself and not others. If not I can't see why you deserve to be unbanned currently.

Although this does work and doesn't involve xray. You should have not abused an exploit.

Cougar, if you had actually read what you quoted me on, you would have noticed I said, "We did not find this to be an exploit."  We have no reason to report a bug we don't find to be a bug; it's rather pointless.

But I suppose you'll want the reasons we did not dub this an exploit.
1.  A staff member claimed to use this technique, and staff do not abuse bugs/exploits.

2.  When the livemap was implemented, nowhere did it say, "Oh and by the way, don't use this to find spawners and stuff, that's really not what we have it for."
