If someone has to come to me even after they've used /ignore we are going to have an issue. This also goes for players retaliating to the bullying.

The problem is very few people actually utilize /ignore. If people would use it then these issues would be drastically reduced.

Or instead of using /ignore when they’ve been told to stop talking to the person they instead antagonize them in hopes of getting them banned

When and if I come across people who clearly instigate arguments I will deal with them. Anyone has the ability to /ignore, if you feel someone is trying to antagonize a fight with you ignore them and let me or any of the other staff know. Like I stated in the original message people who bully and people who retaliate will get punished just the same. Normally people in mcp get along and teasing is normal for us which is why I will talk to everyone first before punishments are dished out. That way there is no confusion when action is taken. This isn't a new rule this is just a reminder that we have rules and limits to how far things need to go.

I also want to make a point that it is highly inappropriate for staff to knowingly join in or be apart of any acts of bullying or retaliation. Staff are the face of MCP, lets not tarnish that.
