okay, so initially my opinions on this matter was heck no, i didn’t want to restart. after some thought i changed my mind and now i agree with the previous comments, a reset would be beneficial because most of the players have already achieved almost everything that makes a classic prison challenging. a lot is being said about previous maps so hypothetically speaking if u were to reset MCP, a mashup of all the previous maps would be so totally cool.

I don't think/ want a reset. I would guess that large amounts of players would just leave if mcp reset. With minecraft as a game "dieing" it would be a risky move.  All other classic servers are gona all those players who played there play on mcp and yet i barely see 2 list on tab. I wounder if that would drop even lower if the map reset. I would wait another 6 months or something and comr back to this question.

Considering time and effort has gone into v6 map with the recent addition of new rank areas like E & A. I assume any possible reset would be on the current map?  I feel a reset would be good for all including new players. Yes they would lose their items and ranks but equally, seasoned players wont be OP with items so it should be fairly balanced to start with.

That being said there are certain crate items which are extremely sought after to a point they are the most OP items on the server, I personally would like to see those items made into super incredibly rare items with like a 1% (or less) chance of getting them.

Also perhaps nerfing certain armor from the crates (bruni/hrim) and forcing people to use the forge only for obtaining those. In addition maybe mixing up which items are in what crate or mix up pieces of armor over the different crates, so that people don't know anymore which crate to farm.

Before any reset does occur could we/someone build some kind of museum / library to preserve those rare items or players stories (and appropriately renamed items). I know a fair few players who have expressed an interest in this.

I really don't want this to happen. I just got a few desirable crate items and I really wouldn't like those to disappear. I also think if a reset were to happen pvp would be on a down low for about a month as players get back their armor and items. I'm just not sure MCP is ready for it yet.

At first, I was on the fence but now, I think resetting will be a good idea as it has indeed been quite awhile since another reset has happened but thought I feel like it just happened ( then again I took a break lol ).   
We could have the same V6 map and maybe have some old maps infused into the V6 one? I'm not sure if it's hard to do but just a suggestion. I do agree with zs that resetting around Christmas would be a good idea. Though I just got Baron etc... I understand why resetting is needed and beneficial so in conclusion I am up for resetting I guess!

I think a reset would be a good idea since most of the active players are already at least citizen or baron.  When we have these many players at such a high rank, then I think it is time for a reset. 

Maybe do the reset with 1.13 depending on how long that is going to take to be released so fewer things are abused if the server needs to be upgraded to a higher version of Minecraft.  I know this is long ways away so we could have a filler reset in tell than with the current map or don't reset in tell then.

I don't know if servers will have to update to 1.13 so time will tell but I can see there to be some exploits if people use 1.13 rather than an earlier version possibly depending on how things go.

Even tho i would hate to lose my collection, I am on board with a reset. Yes it would suck lose all my rares but i can see change being a good thing
