(I dont know what the item was, but It had white particles and flung me into the air).. This player is also very known for scamming, killing, and TP killing...

Why Should We Pick You To Be Our Next Moderator?
I am looking to be your next moderator to learn new things, giving back to those who helped me throughout my MCP life. Looking for a challenge I have made a decision to become mod, balancing school, 2 jobs and MCP as my 3rd job. Ive been a long time player on MCP and have always enjoyed making friends on here as well, starting from the bottom and now we here, just like Drake. Sure my past is dark, but with high hopes and a better feeling about the future, I look no further than to trying new things, like being a moderator on MCP. Ive been on during toxic times when no other is on, my hours are always random but it is also good to catch those who break the rules off guard. And by applying, I look to help those who join the server for the first time, assist those already playing who need help, and broaden my own horizons. And if I don't make it up to the plate and get denied, its simply Tiss but a scratch Ive been on for a good amount of time to know how things work on the server, and I am always willing to learn more as I grow. I go into writing this with high hopes, thinking I would write a beautiful college essay, but its a simple dimple. I'm sure ill add more to it SoonTM

This will outline a possible re-work to guards

Overall guard changes:
Add thorns back to guard armor to balance the better drops so it costs more armor durability no matter how well you do against the guard

Heavily re-work drops, I suggest just simply changing the chance values on the drops to 100% or something very high so they drop certain common things often to make it at least somewhat worth it to kill guards.

Standard Guard:
Make Standard Guard vary based on guard rank (similar to how guards were pre-rework)

This will make Standard guard the "jack of all trades" guard class because I want to make the guard classes have more exaggerated traits so all the classes fit a certain play-style

Riot Guard:
This is clearly the strongest class

Has a lot of health (which is good) this should be the tank class

I suggest a nerf in damage or possibly adding cooldown to the anti knockback shield, something to limit their ability to inflict the massive amount of damage they can.

Marksman Guard:
I like where this class is, but I think a nerf to the marksman bow is needed but possibly a strength increase to keep the same damage overall.

I say this because I have seen guards drop these bows which are very over-powered *cough* coreygill1. But otherwise this class is very good.

Wolf Class:
Never really see it used, seemed fairly balanced when I came in contact with it but I noticed they take damage very quickly because they died to me very fast.

The Canadian Catastrophe
Stinglikebeedril is known for two things, playing on his alt IanUniacke and destroying guards, and being a guard. Sting was playing on IanUniacke Saturday evening when another player, LittleCanada was harassing him for using drugs during pvp. Although nothing seemed to be directly directed at Sting but instead at Ian this would seem to go under player disrespect instead of staff diss. However Sting hopped off of his alt, onto his main where he muted LittleCanada for staff diss. Sting was reported on the forums for this and no punishment was brought out for either one. Silas in fact agreed with Sting stating that it seemed like a fair mute.


Who’s that Pokémon?
It has come to a shocker as most when they logged on Sunday evening to see that Stinglikebeedril had demoted. Sting for the most part was a decent guard, which is why this was a surprise, the reason for his demotion isn’t clear, but the reason on his demote sign is giving away contra. When talking to witnesses we were told that he had been giving away shrooms and other drugs to players. Sting was known mainly for playing on his alt, but when he was on his guard account, he did good, even killing notorious players in combat with his Riot Blade. He just made a mistake but like most demotions nothing can be done. The night before his demotion though he was reported as you read about above, this report however was not the reason for demotion and we do not believe had any influence. You will be missed IanUni* Stinglikebeedril.

New Motherboard, No Guard
As viewers read in the last issue of The Guardly Gazette, Squigga, the newly hired C-Guard had extensive PC issues very shortly after being accepted. Silas had allowed Squigga to be inactive for a large part of a month before demoting him. Squigga, was always too cool for school. He will be remembered in the staff demotion hall as that guard that never did anything, mainly because he was guard for about three hours before cooking his motherboard in a toaster and wasn’t really able to do anything.

“The Guardian”
This issue’s segment of , The Guardian , will cover the next contest that us at The Guardly Gazette are hosting. Player’s will be able to choose one of many writing prompts to choose from and then send their entries to me in a private message on the forums. We will choose the top three stories and the winners will be given prizes. Prizes will still be given if the server resets, if prizes are given out before the reset , the prize will be re-given in the next version within a reasonable amount of time after the reset.

The “Movie” Incident
For the first time in a while we have had a forums sh*tshow. This show took place between MasterOvie, MCP’s newest Warden, and mainly Noxehh, The Great Sword Dealer. For the past couple of years, Ovie has had problems when people refer to him as, “MasterMovie, MasterFilms, MasterCinema, etc.” he has stated multiple times he does not like being called that and has in the past muted/temp-banned numerous players for it. Ovie although has asked players to stop and even though the generation of players that started that joke three years ago for the most part have left, it still sticks around. We are unsure who called Ovie, “Movie” but it escalated very quickly from talking about films to everyone’s dad. Ovie was initially reported for insulting the player base and harassing players. Although it seems the player base was initially being toxic to him as well. So far nothing has been done and Ovie said he worked it out with Noxehh. You can view the report for yourself here.

When you try your best but you don’t succeed.
As you read above, Ovie had been reported for acting childish and insulting players, one of the players reporting him was Noxehh, an older player who has returned. However players couldn’t believe what they saw when Noxehh reported Ovie, in the screenshots taken by Noxehh you can see he had a hacked client enabled. Noxehh claimed he had it on from another server to see if a “kid was xraying” and forgot to disable it. He has since appealed and his perm ban was shortened to five days.

The Next PewDiePie? Probably Not.
Jay_boy19 is a player on MCP who also streams. He announced Saturday that players can go view his youtube channel and watch his stream with Youtube Gaming Live on Youtube. It was supposed to be a 10 hour-long live stream but was cut short right before the two hour mark when he was mysteriously banned for hacks by Dogtag. The evidence? In the beginning of the stream it is seen that Jay_boy19 had a hacked client on and enabled, he just had the HUD display off of his screen but it was still on his active client. He started the stream again and ending and removing the VOD, players such as Maelonic, Dogtag, and Zs helped him to appeal by walking him through everything in his stream chat and he has since been unbanned.

The Button Winners!
The 4 winners for the button giveaway have been picked. Originally the winners were _Asidy, Maelonic, Geonat, and Hypogre. However _Asidy forfeited his prize and had another winner selected which turned out to be Nator. Hypogre forfeited his prize by not contacting Silas in time and a new winner was also drawn with that winner ending up to be MasterScare. Scare has in fact contacted Silas making him the last winner. Silas also commented on the original post that as we near the holidays/Christmas time to look out for more giveaways so we will keep you up to date with that.

Upcoming Inactivity.
In the next couple of weeks we are expecting a drop in the active player base. It is unknown how big of a drop in the playerbase we will have but we are expecting there to be one. The reason for this drop is that the majority of the players are leaving on vacation as players are getting a week or two off of school/work for fall break. We might also expect an actual rise of the active player base as kids will be able to be on during the day. We are unsure which one will outweigh the other or if it will stay the same. Myself for example will be in Florida for a week and will be unable to get on.

The Tp Trapper!
Since the return of xxLink2000xx aka JigglyJohn, Rattlesnake255, and eL33TCREW players have been falling for an old trap. eL33TCREW has been inviting players to his faction and then telling them to quickly come to the f home only for the inviting player to fall into a hole be kicked and then killed for their items. This happened to Falaze who said, “Please make it bannable… It leaves people very helpless and it is very mean.” Another victim who wishes to remain anonymous said this about eL33T, “He’s a dick.” This victim who is apart of the spectrum felt offended and was sad that his trust had been betrayed. Another possible scheme eL33T could have been doing and might try is asking mods and other staff to tp to him, that staff then tps to him and find themselves in a corner, pinned, and killed in a matter of seconds from the unavoidable gangbang that is the faction l33tcrew. We talked to eL33TCREW about his recent actions and he stated that “Someone requested for Falaze to be put down, and I fulfilled my duties as a hitman.” We remind players to be cautious and use wise judgements when joining random factions or request.

The Next Big Chicken Farmer
Anyone taking a casual stroll around Mega plots will know that there has been a recent dramatic increase in chickens around MasterScare’s plot. Chickens in the streets, chickens in his attic, chickens in his stores, chickens in Lea’s plot across the street, chickens in his fountain. All of the chickens seem to be originating from Scare’s plot, it is unknown if he is trying to one up me or what.

I was browsing the forums and saw the "Suggest a donor pack and get it for free if we use it!!!!1!!1!" so I thought I'd give it a swing. I think that there should be something similar to the part pack, but less... very specific? Party packs aren't bad, but I don't really see that much incentive in them unless you're a PvP monster. Things like bows, armor, gapps, and swords aren't really that helpful if you've already got a bunch of crate gear (which everyone does). Now, I'm not saying that the PvP items should be taken out, but rather added to with things less PvP oriented. The crates are nice because of the gambling aspect, and the pickaxes are nice for mining, but it doesn't seem worth it to me. If you were to make a new donor pack, I would suggest including things that everyone could use, and be super general with. Kind of like an essentials package. Thigs like:
