So, let me preface this by saying that this post is not a report, but rather possible causes to the glitch that has been getting people banned. As a server manager for StolenCraft from 2016-2017, I saw this glitch many times, and with some testing, I was able to recreate it and cause the root of the problem. However, since StolenCraft was shut down in early 2018, I can no longer pull up any reports from the forums, discussions, or log files as they all belong to a random Australian guy who has been ghosting me since the server shut down.


1.) Server/Client Side Lag: With all connections come hiccups. Unless you're plugged straight into the server that you're playing on, there will always be lag, and dissonance in connecition. When you join a minecraft server, your connection (If it's good at least) should be synced up with the server well enough to keep everything the same between the minecraft verion you're using to play and the minecraft version the server is using. However, if there is any kind of hiccup in the connection, whether from you or the server, things don't quite match up right. So, if you're crouched while one of these hiccups happen, and then stand up straight after it's over, other players and the minecraft verion of the server still see you as crouching. However, your minectaft version will register that you're standing up, so you don't really see anything wrong. You can still run and jump normally, so it only seems odd to the other players on the server. Relogging typically fixes this, as you're creating a new connection with the server.

2.) Multiverse: Multiverse is a very popular plugin servers use to create multiple minecraft worlds players can cross through and play in. When players crouch in or around the time between switching worlds, or even just teleporting to unloaded chunks in the same world, a similar kind of dissonance can happen as described above. Basically, you're unshifted when you arrive at your new location, but the server hasn't recognised that. So, you're able to move freely and not tell that anything is wrong. If MCP uses multivers for things like the events, prision, and free world, this could very well be the cause of the glitch. Relogging typically fixes this as well, as you're creating a new connection with the server where everything is pretty well synced.

Depending on refresh rate and other server factors, this glitch coud go uncorrected for quite a while if a player doesn't relog. I have seen players go up to a minute in this state before the server realises that the player is no longer crouched. As stated previously, I have seen this issue multiple times, and these two factors were what I along as other staff on a different server were able to come up with. Why should we unban you?: I believe I should be unbanned me because I don't even know why I was banned in the first place. I was just coming out of the KOTL event and for some reason, I started to walk weird. I started pausing when I was walking around and I got a bit confused. However, once I said I was going to relog hoping to fix the problem, I got banned for "Shift Running." In the fact of shift running, I don't know if this was a glitch or not, but I certainly wouldn't just want to shift run for no reason. At the moment I was banned, there was no reason for me to be shift running because of the fact that I always play fair in events, and because of the fact I don't PVP on a daily basis, I wouldn't want to use shift running in that matter either. Additionally, I believe that I should be unbanned because I have dedicated so much time and effort into the server hanging with the friends there I know and love today, I wouldn't just want to give everything away because of a glitch or potential ban to play around with. I try to be very cautious about how I play the game and I haven't been banned for a glitch or ban reason beforehand, so I disagree that I would want to start now? Therefore, in closing, I hope that I can be unbanned from the home server I love and know today. However, if not, it's understandable. Thanks

In the event last man the weapons spawn in the exact same spot every time, which leads to people just camping these areas and waiting for a basically guaranteed win. I think that the event could be made more fun if the weapon drops were randomized so people don't just camp the spawns.

Alright so, today Tysun and I were attempting to kill MasterScare. As you all know with 10+ players on guards get res 2. I believe this is seriously strong due to the fact that MCP average playercount is almost always 10+. So basically it took me and TySun literally 7 minutes to kill Scare while he was literally chugging gaps and also bowing us the whole time. He can essentially chug gaps and live forever and then just punch us away with the bow. Their armor is also currently basically unbreakable, we legit did not break even his helmet after whaling on him for 7 minutes straight.

These are my proposed changes (I would just want one to be implemented)
- Nerf the protection on their armor
- Nerf the unbreaking on their armor
- Nerf res 2 as a whole
- Nerf kit gapple or make a limit to how many they can carry possibly
- Buff their damage (sharpness level) BUT nerf them to res 1

Overall I think guards are a bit overtuned right now, if it takes 7 minutes for two players consistently whaling on a guard (we have str 2). Something is definitely not ok.

Additional info: ItsKelinu and the others have been fined, but it is quite obvious at least one of them did not learn their lesson. It hasn’t exactly continued after the fines, but if it does it will be brought to the forums once more.

It came to my attention today while talking to a player that there has been excessive amounts of teasing that's turned into bullying of a user. I want to apologize to the user for not noticing how out of hand it had gotten. I understand some amount of toxicity is normal here on MCP and we are all guilty of it at one point or another. I think it's important to note that this is just a game in the larger scheme of things and we shouldn't try to take it so seriously to the point of bullying someone off the server.

It's the holidays and we should be more giving as a community. It's okay not to like someone but going to the extent to constantly make a point to insult a user is going too far. If I continue to see or hear about more bullying I will start handing out bans and fines. If someone has to come to me even after they've used /ignore we are going to have an issue. This also goes for players retaliating to the bullying. If you feel that things are getting out of hand don't treat them the same way they treat you or I will punish you both.

I will reach out to the users involved to resolve the issue before a punishment is necessary.

Overall we should be doing everything we can to let this community grow and this goes for everyone, especially the veteran players.
