It's quite to nice have a different and new perspective making educated and unbiased analysis of the server. However, overtime I do believe that your mindset will change. It's all matter of who influences who though. If you bring a respectable atmosphere you will a have a positive impact. If you let other influence you I fear your mindset will change.
