Now that's simply not true.  Just because you have a low amount of playtime does not mean you will not be accepted, sure it may help in the long run with a lot of people applying but in this case with not that many applications and the current guards slowly becoming more and more inactive he has a goodish shot to becoming guard.  Of coarse in the end it is up to silas to decide the fate of the application.

Well Yes you technically right and yes silas could accepted him but It very very hard to be accepted with such short playtime.
