10-15 second pvp timer

Whenever I join a server (especially MCP for some reason) I get loads of lag for a couple of seconds. And several times now I have been killed while either being frozen or being teleported back and forth due to lag. So I was thinking to prevent people from getting killed unfairly make it to where whenever people join give them a pvp timer for just like 10-15 seconds so their computer can catch up.

Maybe if people didn't play on these this wouldn't be happening.

Or just always be safe and logout in a safe zone.

I agree you should safe when you need to log off its not smart to log off in pvp zone. and if you have a slow pc or laptop which one it could also help you if you changed your mc settings. like the render distance the graphics and other stuff that could also make you lag it has lagged me before but wasn't my laptop it was my settings. so keep that in mind and try changing up your settings. Hope this helps

Thanks for the input. For me it's more so an issue of internet problems. So I sometimes get disconnected in pvp zones *shrug*
