Opening Article

Good evening to you all. We are excited to announce the new Prisoners Journal. Were an independent news organization, not influenced by the large media outlets. As a free independent media source, we promise you the truth and nothing but that. No matter what your views on MCP you can trust us to give you the correct news. From us, we guarantee you the truth and nothing but the truth. We won’t try to spin a story out of something which isn’t a story. Nor will we favor one side in a story even if we're talking about issues which involves us. As our promise to you as well we will always tell you who has written our articles (unlike others in this line of work). Our papers will be out every Sunday and Wednesday, however, we can’t promise that! Thank you all for reading we hope you stay around for more of us!

Now all of you know Mitsuo the creator of MCP Alert. He has been hating on the guards the past couple of issues. This hatred has come out of nowhere honestly. Mitsuo never got to meet us or talk to us he just started hating on us. Now if Mitsuo had a reason for this hatred besides us being “bad” then, I would love to hear it.

MCP Alert nonsense

On Sunday, December 3rd Mit or one of his writers was reported to be calling 6 of our current players “E-Whores”. This is honestly unacceptable behavior from a newspaper. The 6 who were called out include 3 mods. LittleLea, Cpt_PandaPantz, and Maelonic. The other 3 who were called out are _Shadowwolf_, AlyssaKateJ, and Girlsrock513. We have some comments from players that were called out on this.

How do you feel about being called a whore?

I've always been called names but never on forums where everyone can see, I just think it's ridiculous with all these name callings. I just think MCP alert should be taken down.

I don't really care about what other people have to say. It is really inappropriate for someone to do that if you did it you should sign your name and own up to it. It is just really inappropriate.

I think it is uncalled for, rude and disrespectful. Women on this server go through a lot, it is also used as a safehaven. A Place to hide away from the world. Women of this community should not have to be worried about there safehaven being ruined. And by no means am I or any of the women in this community a whore look it and try to fit it, it just doesn’t work.

Question 1: What is it like working for the MCP Alert team?

It is fun, I get to write for the newspaper and it just gets put in there, really easy process.

Question 2: Do you agree with some of the things mcp alert has done? ie: Calling players whores?

It is kind of not right its not however those writers are entitled to their own opinion and its based off drama alert so you can expect stuff like that.

The past two normal issues covered guards. Both were segments suggested by our writing team, who all have deferring opinions on a select few guards. However nothing was personal, as it seems you, and along with several other players took them.

Touching on your second story very quickly, both topics were addressed in the Mcp alert special earlier today. MittStarr and the author were both fired for their actions.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I just want to say mit that the prisoners journal came out a long time ago like before I was guard. We made the move to forums because we saw your newspaper was taking heavy criticism and we took the opportunity. Like we said our paper will try to not cause controversy and we will also be as truthful as possible.
