The Guardly Gazette Season 1 Episode 4
[i]The C-Mine Conflict
In the evening hours of the 24th of November, bloodshed covered the ores of C-mine. Owner Silas_Bowen had declared war on the sovereign land of Jerehh’s Fort which had declared it’s capital 45 blocks above C-mine. Silas set up his tnt cannon and the bombardments began. The fighting lasted less than a hour but the effects of the battle lasted days. Players can still go to C-mine today and see remnants of Silas’s war effort. Ryan10001, JoeMC2014, and Jerehh’s cobblestone fort was a threat to MCP and its peoples. Silas launched the first attack with his tnt cannon missing numerous shots, until, he kind of hit. Jerehh was immediately killed when the first explosion hit, leaving Joe and Ryan to fend off Silas. Ryan quickly made repairs and extensions to the fort to try and minimize the damage but it was no-use. Silas, after dozens of tries, had finally somewhat perfected his aim. The tnt was now hitting the fort over and over again, and then, the golden one. Now an army stood on top of Jerehh’s Fort. Half a dozens had united on top of the floating cobblestone fort ready to fight against the Canadian in a suit. That was, until a piece of tnt had literally landed right in-between those defending. Those who weren’t killed by the blast, fell to their death as the tnt had destroyed the floor from the floating sky base. Few remained standing, Ryan10001, and LittleTrappy. LittleTrappy fled early in the fight and flanked Silas from the side, making a tnt cannon of his own. Silas after destroying Jerehh’s Fort quickly rotated his own cannon to face LittleTrappy. Tnt flew through the sky back and forth, both sides landing direct hits and quickly repairing and continuously firing, until Silas launched a manned attack. Manned attacks had been seen throughout the battle as Silas used the MCP Space Program to launch his servant guards into space to attack those on top of Jerehh’s fort but none of the kosmonaughts survived. Silas leaped across the gap seperating his and LittleTrappy’s cannon and placed tnt all over it, ensuring nothing would be left. Everyone quickly bailed off the cannon as Silas lit the tnt, ending the war. No peace agreements have been signed yet, but, soon™.

Photos of the C-Mine Conflict
A lot of changes came with the reset, many of which revolve around events. Last Man which has been shut down for months pre-reset due to extensive glitches during the event has now been changed from a mob survival event to a last man standing type of pvp event. Players now all spawn in the old last man arena and get to beat the living sh*t out of each other. Those who survive long enough will be granted weapons to help the killing of others. Many bugs has come from this as, players tried to cheat the event by not killing each other and causing events to be stalled for two hours. Block Party which used to be a really easy way for players to make money is now only hosted automatically on weekends an hour before actual events start. The cost to host a block party has now been raised from 250k to 300k as well.
Editor’s Note: Block party is now hosted after regular events run but only automatically on weekends.
Friend’s of CDGS Mob Farm Changes
The mob farm in the friend’s of CDGS only area has seen quite a lot changes post-reset. Directly after the reset, players found the mobs in there extremely easy as the mobs weren’t spawning with any armor or weapons. Some players took extreme advantage to this and went on a type of grind only seen in MMORPGs and were able to get numerous god picks using this method before the mob farm was temporarily disabled and by disabled we don’t mean not working we mean the kid who is disabled because the fix included a very slow spawning command block system. The command block system would spawn mobs very slowly and made a huge part of the grind being able to just sit there and wait for the mobs to spawn. Silas though has made a fix to this and returned the mob farm to its former glory. Mobs now spawn with sets of diamond and chain armor and are renamed after certain friend’s of CDGS. Players although have been complaining the new mob farm is too op for those without top notch gear.
Older players return to be banned
Like most resets that have occured on MCP the ban list is reset. This brings back a wave of long-time players that have been banned previously to come back. BrianADJ, Wyld_, and Pigmine123, were all banned in late 2016 for abusing an economy exploit that ruined farmers all over the server. They have appealed in the past with no luck but were all finally unbanned with the reset. They came onto the server a couple of days after the reset and seemed like they were here to stay. They got a decent ammount of gear pretty quickly and were huge players in the pvp scene at the time. Although on their terms they were here to stay but just a little under a week after the reset Pigmine123 and BrianADJ were banned for xraying. Wyld who was apart of their tight-knit group was not banned but has not logged in since the banning of his friends. They have yet to appeal or make any statements on their ban. Another notorious player for being banned in the past is xxLink2000xx, he came back at the end of last version on numerous alts but his main account was unbanned along with BrianADJ, Wyld, Pigmine, and dozens of other players. In the beginning Link was another huge player in the pvp scene and only after a couple of days was banned for hacks by DogTag93. DogTag93 although unbanned xxLink2000xx after he was banned for less than 24 hours. DogTag93 believed he was wrong in handing out Link’s ban and that he wasn’t hacking. To nobody’s shock, xxLink2000xx was banned only a couple of days after he was unbanned for once again the use of hacks. He was reported by TraphouseCorndog(LittleTrappy) and DogTag93 banned Link once again due to the evidence provided in the report.. Link is currently banned permanently and is yet to appeal.
Get baited, get banned
A huge shocker to the playerbase was the banning of Jerehh;
Jerehh was a highly dedicated player to MCP and its cause. Jerehh is known for being a huge aspect of the pvp scene and has a vast history with MCP. Jerehh was banned for xray by LittleLea. Jerehh describes the story that he was baited by close friends DogTag93 and LittleLea. Although close friends to Jerehh they were only doing their job and can’t be blamed. An unknown person did buy Jerehh an unban pass and Jerehh is now happily playing on the server. Being the best miner he can be.
The sniff sniff good stuff war
Fighting isn’t something that is new to MCP, it happens all the time in courtyard and C-Block. However faction warfare on the prison server is a sight for sore eyes. It happened a decent bent in the past year with Cookies and The_Titan_Dude but recently the faction PeePeeTicklers waging war with the BoneZone. Numerous attacks have been launched by PeePeeTicklers on the drug making faction of BoneZone, costing hundreds of thousands in game dollars in damage to their base and drug making supplies. PeePeeTicklers has also teamed up with Evevet101 to do some raids on Fxirytail_Quinn and Interscope_. PeePeeTicklers is making themselves known in the raiding world and wish to be a faction that is feared.
