make a kind of jump scare.  You know the elder guardian thing that comes in from of your screen when it gives you mining fatigue 3? (found in sea temples)  I'm sure you could change that to be a scary image and make it happen at random times just walking around the prison.  With this you could also add a sound to it as well.
