Useful Commands for MCP

Useful commands for regular players

/tips - Lists useful commands, good for new players.
/help - Opens a GUI which contains answers to many of the questions asked by new players.
/ts - Displays the link for CDGS Teamspeak.
/vote - Displays the vote link which rewards you with money and points.
/as - Lists AreaShop commands, AreaShop is used for buying/selling plots, adding/removing players from plots, and listing regions.
/ps - Opens the point shop, used for buying items with points or converting bug tokens.
/points - Tells you how many points you have.
/playtime - Tells you how much playtime you have.
/spawn - Teleports you to your rank's spawn.
/server [ServerName] - Allows you to switch servers or if you just type /server it will list the CDGS servers.
/skill - Tells you what your level your drug creation skills are (These are set to 0 every time you die).
/addiction - Tells you what level of addiction you have to drugs.
/drugs - Tells you whether or not you're going to die if you continue to take drugs.
/suicide - Kills you.
/c - Lists chestkeeper commands.
/f - Lists faction commands
/home [HomeName] - Teleports you to specifed home if you have one set.
/sethome [HomeName] - Sets a home with specified name.
/delhome [HomeName] - Deletes specified home.
/rename [Name] - Renames the item in your hand, costs experience.


Guard Commands

/warp - Opens a GUI which allows you to warp around the prison.
/jail [Player] [Time] [Reason] - Jails a player for the written amount of time with the written reason.
/unjail [Players] - Unjails specified player.
/kit [KitName] - Gives you specified kit, kit food has 1m cooldown, kit GoldApple has a 15m cooldown, and kit (Whatever guard rank you are) equips your armor if it's damaged or you aren't wearing any, if your armor is full durability, it will remove your armor.

On October 1st we will be adding Dynamic Map to the server in order to spice up freeworld/factions.

For those of you who don't know what Dynamic Map is you may read about it here.
In short Dynamic Map is a sort of "Google Maps" for Minecraft.


In this case you'll be able to go to a webpage and see what the server looks like from above for easy scouting & exploring.
Now the PvP implications of this are pretty huge as it will display player & faction locations on the map in realtime.
We're still deciding some things so nothing in this announcement is final such as us still considering whether to show armor levels on players or not.

We've been considering adding this for quite a while and I've personally been against it for a few reasons:[/size]

• It takes out of the "safety" and reward of reaching free rank.
  
• It could possibly cause upset with players who put actual money into their bases.
  
• MCP is a prison server and not factions/raiding centered.
  

• With the addition of "rare" crate items pvp is more exciting and should not be limited to the prison.
  
• MCP does not have many rivalries as it should and sparking those in freeworld would ideally transmit them to the prison.
  
• Factions on MCP have been rather boring since the start. Players build a base, a few grinders, and the bases have little other use.
  
• We contemplated putting on a world border but don't want to limit player exploration. Now players can be found it's much more exciting than just cramming you all together. If someone wants to travel 100k blocks to be safe now there's the chance someone will travel 100k blocks to kill them.
  
• With testing of faction economy there's now more of a chance players will stretch their power and be more open for raiding in order to get the money benefits of the land.

Why should we unban you? I was not using Xray I was looking for an area where water came over obsidian so I can get some for a faction base... I just happened to find a room that use to have a spawner and a chest with hardly anything. If I was using Xray I wouldn't of mined into a completely empty room with a chest filled with random building blocks. I love this server and would not Xray...

Just a cool suggestion that could make MCP more interesting
Something similar to what Minecraft does with their updates, you bundle your projects and divide them into themes.
Once you begin work on the projects, you announce that an update will be released. (ex. minecraft pvp update)
When you were working on crates you could have promoted "MCP Crate update"
or when you added new drops to the guards you might have named it the "Guard Update"

By doing this it could easily make MCP players interested in future updates of MCP especially if it applies to their needs.
MCP can get boring for Free+ players because after the prison there's nothing to do and they basically become active players with no real objective
By adding these update announcements the Free+ can always have something to look forward to and explore when the update is released

its just u organizing your ideas and announcing them to create much needed hype for the server
no harm done ez to do and it does good for mcp

What else but the big thing on MCP right now, Crates! You could make it 1-3 crates as a prize rather than money, exp, emeralds, or diamonds.
