  I think there should be a crate item called, Health sword. This sword is a normal diamond sharp 5 fire 2 sword, BUT it has 6+ max health. Granting the player 3 extra hearts. This is a very balanced and unique item that I don't think MCP has.

#3 Was I recently demoted? (Guard/mod)
#4 Do I know all the guard commands?
#5 (Optional) Do I know all the mod commands for when I am A-Guard? (If you become a guard.)
If you've done all that and asked yourself those questions you're ready to apply. Now when you apply remember to reread the rules to make sure you're ready, staff can tell if you have read the rules or not.  Make sure you don't tell people to check out your app it will be Denied. Why should we pick you to be out next guard? You should pick me as guard because I've dedicated myself to the server by, voting, donating, and reporting bugs once found. I love this server and it means a lot to me, I hope that I can be guard soon, I think I would be a big help to the community even more by being guard. Although I've made mistakes in the pass, I hope my fellow players can forgive me, If not well, I hope you do one day. I've been playing on this server about 3-4 years now, (2016) and I understand things others won't like new rules/old rules. I know I won't be the best person for guard, and my pvp skills aren't the best (Ya they suck XD) but, this is a great opportunity for me to help the server out. #1 Read the rules! (This is a big one)
#2 Fix grammar mistakes, capitals, commas, periods, ect.
#3 Tell them why you should be guard, how long have you played? Do you know the rules? How did you dedicate yourself for the server? Ask forgiveness to your fellow haters too, and mean it.
#4 Never cuss in your application.
#5 What ever you do, don't mess around in your application, this would be really Immature. (I wouldn't use these:  snoopdawg illuminati noob kappabane Ect.)
#6 Make a long application, not too long but decent.

Additional info: I'm Fine with serving the temp ban, But I request that my Alt Be unbanned. I was not given any warnings about this, though I have seen it in the past. Its kind of ridiculous that I was banned for 24 hours for saying "Nigga" In the heat of the moment. This is America! Be careful what you say, Because Every letter of every word that you say can offend someone.

Do you have any experience with other prison servers?: Yes. I played on the old convicted for about a year and a half. I was a guard for about 2 weeks before I stopped playing Minecraft. That was around 2 years ago. I played on the server for over a year. After I became free on Convicted I started to enjoy the prison idea and I tried a lot of other prison servers. I only got free on 1 other server, but I did get a lot of progress in the rest.

I was a guard on convicted for around 2 weeks before I stopped playing Minecraft. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked the role play aspect of it and if I got bored of hitting the mines or working on my plot, it was always fun to hang out around the courtyards and stop fights.

Why should we pick you to be our next guard?: I enjoy the role play aspect of guarding so most of the time when I'm on I assume ill be patrolling courtyards and districts and such. I've been playing convicted for years now and I love this server, I love that you guys kept it very similar to how it was before, although I do miss Viper and Yoshi </3
I've always found serving roles in servers (no pun intended) was really satisfying. And I don't mean to brag buuut I've only been playing for 2 days since I got back to this server and I should be free soon (with some help of buying 50k)

I watch my sister in riots almost every time there is one. With the crate armor/weapons, guards never win.  I know Silas has said that there needs to be a total rework to guards. These are a few things that when combined, guards may be a little more difficult to kill.

1. Make guards gapples slightly better than normal gapples but not as good as god apples. ( When dropped, it drops a regular gapple. )

2. Auto-Eat gapples for guards?

3. Thorns armor?

4. Sharp4 swords but drops sharp3s when dead.

5. A disguise option ( Not /d ) Maybe like the spy in tf2, you could disguise yourself as a different player online so if a player decides to attack you or another player you could be like an undercover cop.

My idea is that the wardens make it so guards can go on and off duty with a simple command such as /duty, giving the guards not only a way of playing as a guard but also as a player, when guards go off duty they become regular players again. When regular players go on duty they become guards and must enforce the rules and protect the prison. I think this would be a good idea, but that's up for you too decide :p
