One question... This is a role play server.. I suggest guards dispose swords. If this is more of a role play server then when a guard kills or asks for contraband they dispose of anything like a normal guard would do irl Example guard sees prisoner with a weapon guard asks for weapon and prisoner gives the weapon to theguard. the guard doesnt go around using it but would put it somewhere (like a dispose thing we have in server) like a evidence room or what not (Talking about irl)

The server is technically a role play server yes. But the idea of them keeping the swords.....was fine able to be dealt with when things didn't cost a metric ass load for the enchants and such. Now, don't get me wrong the enchant system is unique and I suppose able to counter the 1.8 enchanting system. BUT, being a guard, you get the buffs, tazers, a single golden apple, and you can buy as many tazer charges as you can afford. Now, taking all of these items into consideration when a guard kills a player with a better sword. They usually keep it and use it.
Now lets look at this. A guard starts with a Sharp III sword, they kill a player in normal diamond with a sharp IV fire II sword, they keep it and added with their perm buffs it puts them way over use normal players.
The guards should not be able to keep armor, swords, bows, gapples, pots, any of it. As it makes them more op than they already are.

I some what agree however all guards have Sharp III swords. if we want a better sword we have to enchant just like normal players. Also with the gold apples, usually guards buy them off /ps so we are getting rid of points but just to help us. you guys can do the same thing. maybe if you use a Sharp IV Fire II sword you should have better things to protect yourself with for example, Better Armor, Good Bow, Tasers. We Buy the taser charges but it still takes a long time to recharge after you use it once

I see your guys points. But, prisoners dont have buffs and other things. It may be hard to vote everyday for people like me since me and my brother play MCP too and only allows one of us to vote at a time. So including that guards have gaps tazers and other things like buffs guards shouldnt beable to keep swords. Sharp 4 and fire 2 is already alittle OP so multiply sharp 4 and fire 2 with buffs making the guard wayy to OP

Using prot IV, and a C-Guard blade you still did quite a bit of damage, and adding in the negative effects of the tazer you did even more damage, now when I got you near dead you would gapple, and then you began to have your armor break and then used hand cuffs to jail me during pvp. Now, you gappled maybe, what?, seven times during that fight? Guard buffs are to much to deal with, hand cuffs are extremely shitty as the guards have gotten so lazy they pull a sharp iv fire ii sword on a c blocker fisting them. They don't even type the commands anymore. But this isn't about that lmao.
Back on topic, a guard can kill a Prot IV, Sharp III guy pretty easily, taking into account their buffs. But lets place that Prot IV guy with a Sharp IV Fire II sword. A new guard starts killing people with thsoe items and is allowed to keep them. Lets say he has collected a double chest full of those swords. Letting that guard keep items he gets from a riot is annoying for us players. And letting them keep gapples? A guard will never fucking die.

[/quote] Also, Silas said he wants this to be a role player server and it is. Not many kids these days are not into role player servers and thats how i met MCP because i like role player servers.
Now, Guards are wayy to OP what they are. the only reason we kill guards is because its like a 1v5. but a 1v1 on a guard the guard is most likely to win. Unless this prisoner has maxed out things including good pvp skills. Example, zs me mit and cougarboy fight a guard. The guard uses a sharp 3 sword and manages to kill one of us. finally after pvping for more than 5 minutes the guard finally dies after having no gapples but, now lets go alittle foward. the same guard kills a prisoner and gets 20-25 gaps a fire 2 and sharp 4 sword. Later on we all come on and decide to riot again. But this time the guard has 5 times the chance to win. this time the guard kills all of us but the maxed out p4 guy and he finally kills the guard. Guards should dispose swords and other items like gapples. Or have some kind of evidence room saying "This sword belong to girlsrock513" I rest my case

Ok..I Get what your saying but lets remember something. When its a 5v1 Guard Armor Breaks quick and we cant repair when were in combat, once our Helmot is gone we lose hearts easily..thats why i bring Gapples so i can regen and try to get more hits on the Rioters. Now yes i understand what your saying but over time the server will become more experienced and people will get P4 and a lot more better swords. once those players have P4 and a Sharp IV Fire II Sword it will be very hard for a 1v1 and i think Guards should be able to keep the Gold Apples and whatever sword they like.

Alright i see your point but, Guards use points to get gapples. But prisoners work for gapples and work hard for there things then boom a guard has sharp 4 fire 2 the prisoner dies because of the buffs on the guard times the sword.
Now the guard has yet maybe another good sword alot of gapples and will never die and plus guards run away and get there armor back by using /kit armor (pretty sure) I seen link do it and other guards do it too. Another thing, Guards shouldnt be able to repair armor in a battle. It is fair because are armor gets low and we dont have /kit armor or what not. Also gapples shouldnt be a problem for guards when they commit and vote and have point same for prisoners. Now, Its already hard enough for a prisoner to kill a guard lacking of p4 because of the xp problems, not double the problem with sharp 4 fire 2 and some people have sharp 5 imagine if a guard has sharp 5 and fire 2. Another example, Brian is a good pvper he says now he isnt a good pvper because alot of prisoners dont want to riot anymore. Mainly because of the OP guards have now I bet no one would riot if a guard had a OP sword and 25 and more gapples considering that will make players get mad and might rage quit causing the servers population to go down.

Master, most of the guards in riots usually run through the fucking plotwins and repair their armor. As Girls said we don't have kit armor, the guards are op enough when they have the buffs and letting them keep golden apples? Yeah us players don't stand a chance.

True but i hope you do know that Diamond Armor is a lot better then Chain and its not /kit armour. Yes ik right now prisoners have to work hard for armour while guards get their stuff for free but us guards made a commitment to the server and would protect any prisoners. Ik getting armor you want is hard but if someone dies during a riot they shouldn't rage. they could get a little mad but not over the top. Accept it and make better armor better sword and more gapps. We cant repair armor in Combat and most people drink speed pots before they riot so if Guards to run to get sorted out they can catch up .
