Killed in safe zone on minechat bug?

I didn't need to use the format because none of that applies to this situation. So Thursday night I logged off to go to school. Later In school I went on my phone to use minechat and I had no problems. Friday night rolls around and I go on minechat in the car headed to the beach. When I got on minechat I was just talking to some people. Then a few minutes later it says "withered away" and I then lost all the items in my inventory. I figured out what withered away means and apparently brianadj killed me with a taser yet I was in safe zone. I don't think this is fair due to the fact I was in a safe zone and there's no reason I should of died. He then did it multiple times, I tried to go to one of my /home to avoid it but it wouldn't let me. So I lost all my good items and lost a lot of faction power. I think it's reasonable to get my items back.

The server doesn't support minechat officially so there's nothing we can do. If you use minechat I recommend you don't carry items on you. If you were afk on minechat you could also have easily been pushed into a pvp zone.

tasers do poison, and why does every think they get their items back when they die... same thing has happened to me and I didn't get mine back.

I got my items back when Brian used the /d bug on me.

The server doesn't support minechat officially so there's nothing we can do. If you use minechat I recommend you don't carry items on you. If you were afk on minechat you could also have easily been pushed into a pvp zone.

Personally, The simplest and less complex way of fixing this is making a /warp to a safe haven for Minechat users so they can't get pushed out from safezone to pvp zone.
For example; /minechat
and it TP's you to a I'd say a 5x5 box w/ safezone all in it so nowhere to be pushed out of.
Simple.
I'm sure minechat has a option to what command it types when you first log in, and it's default set to /spawn but they could set it to /minechat, and it'd take them to this safe haven.

Blister got his items back due to his death being the result of a bug. Yours was not.

you cant push people in minechat. Just tested it. This death occured 100% in a sz

Yup which therefore is a bug. Silas you don't have to give my stuff back but atleast figure something out because I got killed in a "safezone" which doesn't live up to its name "Safe" if I died.
