well for once I'm not going to be a dick

This is my honest opinion.

The good:
You fessed up to your bullshit, put a lot more effort into your appeal, removed the "planning to donate" part, deleted your hacked client(that doesn't mean much though, easy enough to re-install), and you took responsibility for your actions.

The bad:
you didn't embed the gif and multiple people had to call you on your bullshit before you fessed up, people had to tell you that you were responsible before you admitted you were responsible.

Overall a pretty good appeal.  If I got caught hacking & lying to staff, I don't know what else there would be for me to say.

But I think the appeal is good and it was his first time, so you should unban.
Definitely better than his first one
