The timezone the forums are on are 4 hours behind AST, meaning it was 7 hours after you were accepted that you changed your name. Don't bullshit me and say you weren't assigned guard rank for 7 hours. Aldron, this is a report. The report is for breaking the rules, no matter what the intent it is still against guard rules to change your name. And as for calling Silas an idiot for not realizing, Sniped's nickname was Oddordyr before he got guard so it would be hard to notice. I've told Silas that Sniped changed his name while he was guard in TeamSpeak and Silas acted surprised, implying he didn't know. This report is for Silas, and while I do appreciate your input this report is solely for Silas himself.
And I am sure you made sure to tell him it was only mere hours after the fact that he was made guard that he changed his name, and didn't at all make it seem like he recently changed his name. If you honestly believe that Oddor needs to be demoted for something that happened 3 months ago that also had NO effect on anyone's understanding of who he was due to his nickname being Oddordyr for several days prior to his promotion, then by all means, lets demote every Guard who made a minor infraction upon the rules or didn't follow them to the T. Lets demote all staff for that matter for the same cause. Mit screaming Ni---- over TS and not following current CO rules. Masterovie for removing his Guard armor during a fight with Moon. Silas for banning Oddor after he compared SC2 to LoL. Mae for not calling every CO, myself included.
Reports are for clear, intentional abuse, performed by someone who clearly doesn't understand their role as staff, and no longer deserves their position as staff. Not to dig up minor, unimportant events that caused no problem for anyone on the server.
