Two quick Christmas suggestions:
Firstly, I propose you make voting give x2 the awards it already gives during Christmas break. The intended effect of this will get more players on the server to vote.
Secondly, I propose you do another Christmas point contest. I've always gotten addicted to them and won't be crushing it like always this year. It really got me playing MCP when I was active, and I expect the same to happen to several other players. Make points achievable through events, voting, and another system that can be discussed.
