The server is technically a role play server yes. But the idea of them keeping the swords.....was fine able to be dealt with when things didn't cost a metric ass load for the enchants and such. Now, don't get me wrong the enchant system is unique and I suppose able to counter the 1.8 enchanting system. BUT, being a guard, you get the buffs, tazers, a single golden apple, and you can buy as many tazer charges as you can afford. Now, taking all of these items into consideration when a guard kills a player with a better sword. They usually keep it and use it.
Now lets look at this. A guard starts with a Sharp III sword, they kill a player in normal diamond with a sharp IV fire II sword, they keep it and added with their perm buffs it puts them way over use normal players.
The guards should not be able to keep armor, swords, bows, gapples, pots, any of it. As it makes them more op than they already are.
