Hey if MCP payed my bills and satisfied my wife, I'd come back all the time.
I loved the community.
You can improve it by expanding on the CDGS part, man I dunno about MCP anymore, but I had some of the best times playing other games with the CDGS community. Maybe focus on expanding it as a gaming community and not just a Minecraft server.
I just came back because it was basically my entire childhood and for the community.
I leave because at a certain point life hits you like a taser qualification and you just gotta ride the lightning y'know. Get married, leave the active Army for the reserve, rent a house, raise a couple of cute dogs, work two jobs, working on a second degree. Now here I be approaching the prime of my life, sitting on my living room floor in a dinosaur onesie with no regrets. You feel me?
