Good point about the bribing. 

I like this idea. 

Maybe there can be a donor option to have more that one plot in the world to possibly get more donors on the server (It's not guaranteed) or you can vote so many times a week to get another plot (This may help get more players or not).

+1 I believe that this plot contest world idea could be beneficial in many ways. It would also be good to have fair plot sizes, so that people can build things that are equal in size.
