Why should we unban you? I really was not hacking, it is a visual glitch that sometimes happens on multiplayer servers. I can understand while at first glance it may look like I was hacking, but if I were I most likely would have used a better hack than simply sneaking and running. I'm sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Additional info: I recently posted a ban appeal admitting to using this hack. I wish to retract that statement. as I felt pressured into lying and saying I did hack, otherwise I would not be unban. I talked it over with zs471 and he advised me the best way is to just tell the truth and post this ban appeal. He also acknowledged that he has seen this visual glitch before and knows that it can happen.

I really hope I can play on the server again soon, as I did nothing wrong.

After speaking with ReyRey and from some prior knowledge, I do believe he was not hacking after all. I do know of a visual glitch that makes it appear you are sneaking while you are running around. I have even seen a player ban off of MCP for the same glitch (Axeis).

He did admit to using it, but as he said he just felt pressured and thought that was his only way to be unban, which I've also seen happen quite a lot.

So, I do believe he was not hacking and should be unban. I'd unban him myself, but it was partly Maelonic's ban, so I'll let her handle it.

I have never seen this bug successfully reproduced. Do that and in my opinion the ban is invalid.

From what I know and what I've read this is a fairly uncommon visual glitch that started in 1.8. It'd be hard to recreate it on the spot, but here are some sources saying that it is in fact a visual glitch.

I even found a video tutorial on how to preform this glitch, although it is not achieved the same way, it is showing that it can be done. Perhaps ReyRey was holding the sneak key when he died and spawned back in.

After unsuccessfully attempting to recreate this bug on RushPvP we've come to the conclusion that you must have been using a client and will not be unbanned.
