Allow Users with Nicknames to Change Them - Ryan10000 - Dec 15th, 2018

2. Could it be done easily? Yes
3. Has something like it been done before? no
4. Has this idea been suggested before? no
Allow players who have purchased a /nick to change them again in the future. To do this players could use a sign to purchase the ability to change their nickname once for a set amount such as 100-200k. This would allow players to change their nicknames when they would like but would not be spammed as an in game cost would be incurred.

I'd still want a cooldown of some sort for people who want to troll staff by switching their names constantly.

In all seriousness older MCP players may remember we drastically lowered the price of nicknames compared to what they used to be. We used to have one time nicknames be $15 now they're only $5.
If we ever added the ability to change your nickname at anytime we'd sell the existing packages as "one time nicknames" and then another more expensive as /nick anytime with probably a daily/weekly cooldown or something. Would anyone actually be interested in that though?

I second the two nickname package idea... Not sure how long I'd want the cool down to be. One day seems really short so something along the lines of 1 week would most likely be ideal.
It would be interesting to know if it would be possible to "upgrade" from the one time nickname to the nickname with a cool down.
