In C shop you can buy cobble smelt it, then resell it to the sell all sign for a profit.

It is the same cost without considering your time smelting them.
Here is a break down:
16 Cobble - $48
2 Coal - $48
Total - $96
16 Stone - $96
I know Charcoal sells for less so if you get some, it would be worth it; however, chopping down trees and smelting logs may not be worth it due to the time spent. I do some testing on that though later and will report to this thread when i have time.

After looking into to this, the above is the case. The sell all sign sells for the same price as you can buy it at the shop.
Quick info:
Stone cost $160 for buying. Sells for $160 on the sell all sign. Admin chest shop of just stone sells for $96.
