Seems like a pretty decent build for the budget, that is just a quick glance.

Re: My PC Build - omega015 - Jun 18th, 2016

If you have room in the budget for a SSD they you can have the os/programs on that and the 1tb for your music, vids etc...

Re: My PC Build - serrian_ - Jun 18th, 2016

I would also invest in an i7 so you have more hyper threading capabilities.

Re: My PC Build - polardog11 - Jun 18th, 2016

I would switch the i5-6500 with a i5-6600k. I would not go with a i7 for that build because you simply do not need it.

Some games like Far Cry 4 and most new titles do not support  an i5. It all depends on what you wish to play.

Again  this is suppose to be a cheap reliable  gaming pc. But yes I am willing to upgrade to 1TB SSD. Keep te suggestions up Smile

Re: My PC Build - Zeedin - Jun 18th, 2016

DO NOT BUY A GPU RIGHT NOW!!!

Wait till the 480/470/460 come out. A RX480 beats/gets the same performance at a 980/980ti for $200(USD)
And that i5 is more then enough.

Also I would not get that power supply
I would get this

or this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817139148

And if you go with the first power supply use the savings to get this cheep SSD or a cooler, I would do the cooler over the SSD.

The best CPU cooler you can get for the price

[/quote]Not true it is duel core CPUs that they do not like/run on, also moving to a K would be useless due to him not having a good CPU coolers so OCing is out the window.
