I got my computer working but now my minecraft says I can only play demo. Can anyone help?

Uninstall any version of minecraft you have already installed and log out of mojang/minecraft.
Log back in the minecraft website and try to re-download.
Make sure you download the mac version of minecraft
Run minecraft again and if that doesn't work, ropes are pretty cheap
