Sharp 4 (Guards) - Girlsrock5133 - Jan 2nd, 2016

I think guards should get a better weapon, not too much of a good weapon but like sharp 4 or something, I get killed in 5 seconds when I'm in a riot, and I do suck at pvp, but even a2 and others die that quick too. So, Instead of giving us better buffs and crap. I say you do the simple thing as upgrading the weapons to sharp 4.

In the past higher ranked guard (A-Guard) up had sharp 4's and Silas removed it. I don't think they will be added again, that's like giving V4 guards sharp 5's because sharp 4 is this maps sharp 5.

Anythings is better than nothing, I would like guards not being always killed and at least kill a decent p4 guy/girl. Guards die and give out drugs (sometimes) and people stock up on that to kill us even more, getting our tasers, gold apples, and weapons. (Unless we use all our golden apples and tasers) and they still have a chance for drugs.

Balancing guards is much harder to do than simply giving them better swords. If there was some miracle fix to balance them we'd have done it. We've had OP guards in the past where killing them was impossible and it could become that at the flip of a dime. Guards get the shit end of the stick because it's better for the server to have weak guards than OP ones. Believe me we are looking into balance.

K thanks for the feedback, I understand it's hard to balance the two, but I think somethings in crates aren't as rare as they seem. I usually get killed with Crate swords while they wear silas/Zeedin/Other crate armor. They should work for what they get, like get XP to enchant armor instead a click of a iron ingot and getting the rarest thing on the server. Although crates are a good benefit I think it would be great to make things more rare.
