Spawn change - jabby32 - Oct 12th, 2015 One thing i've been noticing a lot is C blockers joining then, after say 5 minutes, leaving forever. Map's map is great for an experienced player but not for a new one. First off i've gone to the tutorial and watched new players go through it, and honestly a majority of them don't bother reading the signs, and the few that do are filled with information so fast that they get confused and go play mini games. However, there still needs to be an info room for obvious reasons. My suggestion is to rework the tutorial room so that it is all together. (not a bit of tutorial, then you take a right to see all the people demoted, as well as some more information, then you take another right, up some stairs, jump into water end up in another area, where you turn around but avoid any water portals. Then you go down some windy stairs ignoring the big cavernous hardcore parkour and cells, to finally make our way to C.) <-- This being confusing to read proves my point. For a new player all of these changes in direction are very confusing, and it is easy for a new player to get lost. Try and make it tutorial spawn which focused on C block. I know you have to put all those other portals and stuff elsewhere, but for a person who just wants to join and get to the action it makes no sense. Also i swear I'm going to freak out if one more fucking person joins and asks "where's the spleef?" First I have to build it to how Silas wants the layout this time he wanted the cells right off of spawn. Also you need to have all the major things you want players to know about/see/use withing 10ft of them or else then never see them because most Minecraft players now are brain dead 9 year olds. Also it needs to look good. Then there is the big problem of FSP lag you have to deal with and it can't be to big/small because of earlier statements, so that is why I say fuck it and build it how I want. But spawn has been like that for 3 maps now so I don't know what has changes... O wait I do most Minecraft players now are brain dead 9 year olds and there is legit no helping them.
