There should be a little thing next to the 'Show unread posts since your last visit' and 'Show new replies to your posts' that shows the number of unread posts next to the button. Lina like the msg thing. Just a little number caption so we don't have to actually click on the button if there are no unread posts. This would be really convenient and helpful and nice looking. Please consider.

Because its not necessary and you could just click on the link, or bookmark it if you are against clicking on it.
