I know there used to be a part of buy craft that would say who was the top donator each month, and then it just disappeared. I think this should be added back again, or maybe make a list of like the top 10 donators.

This would be pretty nice to have, especially if they managed to put signs or something that displays the top 10 donators.

there's really no utilitarian reason to add this, but if people want to add it, I have no qualms

It was originally removed in case the donors did not want to be known as big spenders, it has been re-added at http://minecraftcommunityshop.buycraft.net/ but does not show the price.

Maybe you could put an option when someone donates where they choose whether or not to have the donation tracked (counted on the top donators list). And maybe could be defaulted to off (not tracked) so people that don't know about the option and don't want to be tracked wont be.
