anyways, let's get this thread back on track. I wouldn't mind it if you got more money or a constant rate of experience from voting frequently, but the donor pack seems like it'd be a little much

Then make it somewhere around 30 thousand votes for a pack

30,000 votes for a pack would be

30,000 votes / 4 votes per day = 7500 days

7500 days / 365 in a year = roughly 20.53 years [it's a tad smaller because of leap years]

most people on the server are half that age though

BUT WHAT IF WE MADE IT SO THE TOP VOTER EVERY TWO WEEKS OR SO GETS A DONOR PACK UNDER $20

yeah, 20 years is a tad much, but I say again, what if we made it so the top voter within a voting period got a buycraft voucher? this would keep the amount of vouchers that were given out down to a manageable rate

Re: Long-term voters - ShadowHunterDaPro - Feb 1st, 2014

i think thats a good solution? but would it be a pack of our choice?

Re: Long-term voters - BluudBath - Feb 1st, 2014

How about instead of money for donating, there would be a concept of MysteryCrates. It would be a random chance that when you donate you can receive one, and thus open it. You could get:
-Golden Apples (common)
-Tools with enchants (like op picks, shovels, and axes) (uncommon)
-PvP items (prot 4 and swords with op enchants) (uncommon)

This would increase the likelihood of people voting because they could win other prizes.
At the end of the month we could tally up the votes, and whoever voted the most could earn a lot of MysteryCrates.
(1st, 2nd, and 3th place; first receiving the most; 2nd earning not as much; 3th receiving less than 1st and 2nd)
