Guard Perks

Like I've stated in previous post I don't think there is enough insensitive to be a guard. I would suggest we add special perks to being guard that only guards could have. Of course these perks would be earned and you'd have to stay active and maintain your rank to keep them. Different perks would vary depending on your rank.

Perks that guards could including;
Guard off duty status (as previously mentioned)
Guard mega's (that are the size as regular megas that are free to them and expand with their rank)
Guard store with items and trades only the guard would have access too.
Guard Mine (which only high level guard would have access too) This would be a personal space for guards to mine without worrying about griefers.

These are only ideas/suggestions but I think there should be more reason to want to be a guard. Not only that but a reason to stay active and be a good guard.

So youíre basically saying only Polardog and I get the good shit, fine with me.  Most guards take a break during events so thatís there off duty time.  Also pb64 has a mega and Iím added to it so no point in having a guard mega.  Guard mine, could be interesting if there was a small % chance you get a good bow or sword or something from mining except players would ask to have a chance at getting armor from mining and it would just be annoying.

At the moment and for the most part yes, but others motivated to be good guards would come on. You might actually have to compete for your rank after awhile.

Most guards take a break during events so thatís there off duty time.

I'm not just talking about events I'm talking about the requirement to call for contra and to go into the freeworld. (even though they could always call contra if they wanted to, but only in the prison)

Also pb64 has a mega and Iím added to it so no point in having a guard mega.   

Maybe for you but to have your own place without having to pay for it would be something worth of value. My idea of this is once you are accepted to be a C-guard you get a guard mega. As you rank up you get expansions for free.

That's one good idea but it would be up to Zeedin and Silas to decide if they wanted to do that. I was just thinking of a place where guards could mine without worrying about seeing everyone in the mine especially when it resets.

I think the mines are big enough even if 4 people are mining there itís still a good money maker.

That scarifies still applies. You still don't have the option of going there unless you apply for it. Might I also add that besides the fact of avoiding guard duties I don't see a reason for you not to be able to go to the free world? Having "off duty" justifies itself in that manner.

I would just add guard megas as a warp in /tips. There doesn't have to be a sign for it unless the admins chose to put one in. Anyone could visit this area but only guards would be able to chose(be assigned) a plot to build in it. Maybe this area could be apart of the mega world. This area wouldn't be to big seeing as how we have very few guards on at all. Having an assigned warp for guard in the middle of this area would help the fact you don't have warps.

Perhaps but it is just an idea. Like I stated before having a shop to buy/sell for guard could include different sales prices to benifit guards, this could be complimented with what spawns in the guard mine.

Not all or any of these idea's have to be used. I just believe there should be more insensitive to be a guard.

We want to avoid giving incentive people to be guard for the wrong reasons. That being said a guard plot or area isn't the worst idea in the world (we had one half a decade ago on MCP V1). Guards and staff do have all their staff rooms though and we may expand onto those.
